They ensure that traffic moves smoothly and safely by utilizing various tools such as boom barriers and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems. Boom barriers are used to control the entry of vehicles into a certain area while ANPR systems are used to identify vehicles by their license plates. Both of these tools help Traffic Control Residents to monitor and regulate the flow of traffic in their area.
